I’m a wife and a Dog Mom to Pita, a sassy 15 year old senior chihuahua and Archie, the most handsome 3 year old black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We have chosen a little guy looking for a FUREVER home with The Barky Bunch Rescue we have named Benny. So I understand all the wonderful anticipation and joy you will experience waiting for your new family member. My dogs are my children.
I’ve always had a passion for animals. My house has always been filled with barking or meowing. I firmly believe a house is not a home without a pet.
When I’m not helping The Barky Bunch Rescue I work as Registered Nurse for the VA. I have been in nursing and military medicine for over 20 years.
I am honored to partner with The Barky Bunch Rescue. Please consider adopting a dog in need…you may need them as much as they need you!

I am so excited to be a part of The Barky Bunch! I spent the first 20 years of my adult life as a working military wife and mom of 4. I have spent 30 years in Nursing, raising 4 wonderful kids that have become amazing adults. Now I am an empty nester but busier than ever! Starting this rescue with other passionate people and the support of my husband means the world to me and will mean the world to the dogs we rescue. I have 7 dogs, 4 are meat trade survivors from China(you can see them on our logo). I am passionate about rescuing dogs that have no hope, that have no other chance. Volunteering with other rescues wasn't enough, I wanted to do more. Making new Families is my reward, our after adoption updates are my favorite part!!!

Julia
Julia is just starting her career as a Registered Nurse. She has been passionate about dogs since she was a child. Julia has one dog named Luna and they are an inseparable pair. Julia helps The Barky Bunch where we need help, she works behind the scenes and is amazing when we need a hands on volunteer with airport assistance and general organization.
